I want to buy a weapon for my sister who is coming to study in holland. Could anyone tell me what weapons are allowed in Holland for selfdefense? (Taser, pepper spray.... ?)

No weapons are allowed in Holland.

All kind of regular weapons (like guns, knives, pepperspray and teasers) are forbidden by law in the Netherlands.

I can give you some advises: Just don't let her walk alone on street in the late evening/ early morning. Give her a mobile phone and tell her the emergency number. (112)
